November:

Some of the members of Pathfinders over elevens age group enjoyed an evening out at Cotswold Bowl.

Some of the church members were involved with the Millenium Candle project within the Ecumenical Parish of Bishop's Cleeve. The Ecumenical Parish includes Bishop's Cleeve, Woodmancote, Southam and Cleeve Hill communities. The Millenium Candle project endeavoured to deliver a candle and card to every household within the Ecumenical Parish. Deliveries of the candles took place during November and December.

December:

On the 11th December the Church enjoyed the annual Christmas party. This event caters for all ages - although it pays to be young at heart! A great time was had by all with the adult round of musical chairs being fiercely contested! Everyone enjoyed themselves and of course, the food was great too.

The 19th saw another annual event - the Carols by candlelight service. The Church takes on an atmosphere all its own with the illumination of the Church provided by many candles. The service celebrated the coming of Christ with a mix of readings and traditional and modern carols. The Church was virtually packed with only a few remaining seats - this service has become popular with many local people preparing themselves for the Christmas period.

During December, the prayer group continued to meet. This group has seen magnificent growth during the months of November and December and is indeed an answer to prayer. Prior to November the group regularly saw 4 to 6 steadfast individuals meeting for prayer. Now the Church is becoming focused on the subject of prayer, we have witnessed a dramatic growth and seen nearly 12 attendees on one occasion. This group has hopes for further growth in the future.
