News for 2010
January-February:
A Church meeting was held on the 27th January
- Andrew Hiscock stood down from the leadership team.
- Keith announced his intention to retire from leading Woodmancote Church by the end of 2011.
- Elizabeth Lewis was confirmed as lead for pastoral care.
- Bob Mann took over responsibility for the Mission lead from John Duncan.
- Nigel to work on audio/video technology improvements
- Bill McFarlane to lead the redecoration of the church commencing June 2010.
- Keith confirmed that the church will be called Woodmancote Church - to align with the naming/descriptions of other village groups.
Andrew ran 'A life worth living' course. This was attended by previous Alpha course attendees and other people from churches within the parish.

April:
It was with fond memories that we said farewell to Gill Pearce as she passed away during April. Her funeral service was held on 10-May-2010
May:
A mini-Church meeting was held this month.
Keith led a course entitled "Radical Disciples" based on the book of the same name by John Stott.
June:
During June and July the Church audio and video cabling was renewed to make significant improvements on patching of audio and video from music players and presentation equipment. We also installed digital wireless for lapel and free standing microphones
The main church was completely redecorated, with some elements of the windows being sympathetically repaired.
July:
Andrew ran an evening course: "If you want to walk on water, you've got to get out of the boat".
We held our annual cream tea with the weather set fair this year.
September:
We held our harvest celebration service followed by an afternoon harvest praise and shared tea.
October:
Prayer meetings commenced this month as preparation for considering the future pastorate provision.
November:
Keith, Elizabeth and Mary ran the Parenting course in the church. A few parents attended this new initiative.
December:
Christmas carols were celebrated in the Apple Tree.
We also held our Christmas Carols by candlelight service, the Nativity Service, and of course our Christmas Day morning celebrations.
